Good place to stay for Tajpur Vacation. Huge space around the stay like garden, park, parking space to have a good bonfire! Staff and caretakers are quite cooperating. It’s only 10/15 mins away from the beach by walk. Meals are provided but you’ve to order it beforehand(they will inform you as well). If you wanna try the mighty delicious crab or meat roasted, try to let them know at least 1 or 2 days ago beforehand.
Shibaayan Maity
The small resort with 10 rooms is located in Tajpur, West Bengal. The resort is an initiative of Contai based opthalmologist Dr Satyam Maity. The resort contains 3 ponds within the premises.The guests are allowed to do fishing and use the 2 paddle boats. The guests always have the option of eating freshly netted fish. There is an abundance of Prawn ,bhetk and crabs in the ponds. The rooms are large and are furnished with all modern amenities . There is power back up. The staff are courteous and work hard to fulfill your need. The tariff is inexpensive.
Very good resort with helpful and well behaved stuff. The rooms are spacious, airy and well maintained with balconies in front. The attached washrooms are spacious and clean with a mini dressing space in front. The food in tasty and fresh. The surrounding garden and the fishing-cum-boating ponds are added attractions of the resort. Deducted one star because of the resort’s distance from the sea. The beach is 7/8 minute’s drive from the resort and most of that road is in deplorable condition. The sea beach is very beautiful and quite close to the mouth of the lagoon.
